A little history

My apologies to the minions. I have not thought about my blog much lately. And asking to get on the computer, with only intentions of blogging seems silly sometimes. (And doesn't always work). Anyway, the carpentry idea is a good one so here it goes.
I was at home minding my own buisines, (wondering when my welding job would start back up, the shop was slow over the winter) when a friend called me and asked if I could help lay some hard wood flooring. I said sure, seeing as I wasn't working somewhere else. It was over two thousand square feet of unfinished flooring. That equates to about two weeks on your knees, going baack and foourth. Back and fourth. Moving rather quickly to keep the flooring laid out ahead of the guy nailing the floor down. I lost over five pounds on that job. :-) Maybe I should do it again... I had a good work ethic and what I didn't know I was teachable. The boss liked me and offered me a job with pay starting at two dollars higher than he usually started newbies out at. That is where I learned the basics. And the some of the fancy stuff too. But alas, he did some things ethicly that I did not agree with, and I had the oppurtunity to do a job on my own, so I told him that it was time to move on.

... To be continued...
